WHAT IS THE FALL-A-THON?
The Sixth Annual Korinji Fall-a-thon is a unique way to raise funds for a great cause:  the development of Korinji, a rural Zen monastery, where meditation, traditional fine arts (calligraphy, tea ceremony, ceramics, flower arrangement) and other cultural arts may be practiced.  The Korinji Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, is working to fulfill this dream on land it has purchased near Madison, Wisconsin.

In the Fall-a-thon, students of the martial art Aikido earn pledges based on the number of times they are thrown in 15 minutes!  It's intense, exciting and fun.  Similar to a walk-a-thon, these students are giving of their heart and sweat, and they need sponsors to back them up.

SPONSOR A FALL-A-THON PARTICIPANT
You can sponsor one of our Aikido students for as little as 10 cents a fall, or any amount you like!  You can also choose to make a flat donation.

If you don't know any of our participants, we're happy to pair you up with one...just email us at info@shinjinkai.org.

Once the Fall-a-thon is done, your sponsored faller will let you know how many falls he or she completed.  Submit your donation amount below, safely and easily, using PayPal (if you don't have a PayPal account, you can still make a secure donation with a credit or debit card).  Please also let us know who you're sponsoring when prompted.

If you prefer to just donate a flat amount to Korinji, you can use the same link at any time.  We deeply appreciate your support, and your donation is tax-deductible.  (For more information on the many ways you can support the Korinji Foundation and contribute to the founding of a new Zen temple, please go to www.korinji.org).

VOLUNTEER
The Fall-a-thon requires not just a lot of stamina, but also a lot of support work.  We need volunteers to count falls, provide refreshments and encouragement, and ensure that the event is well-organized for everyone.  If you have the time to help, we'd love to have you on our team:  contact Enmei Hunter at info@shinjinkai.org.
